Aemaris Consulting

Advice from people who do the work themselves.

Our group employees are experts in their fields, and Aemaris Consulting is how that expertise is made available to others. Every adviser here earns their knowledge inside an operating business — on sites, in supply chains and across borders — not from a textbook.

Who we are

Expertise that comes from running the business

Most advice is written by people who have never had to live with the consequences of it. Ours is not. The specialists behind Aemaris Consulting spend their working lives inside the group's construction, trade and travel businesses.

That means when we advise on a build programme, a sourcing arrangement or an entry into a new market, we are drawing on decisions we have already made with our own money and our own reputation attached.

We give practical answers, we say when something will not work, and we are comfortable being measured on the outcome.

We only advise on work we do ourselves. If we have not lived a problem, we will tell you that rather than bill you for learning it.

Practice areas

Where we can add something

Our practice areas map directly onto the businesses we operate — which is exactly why we are useful in them.

Construction & project advisory

Feasibility, specification review, cost and programme sanity checks, quality control systems and safety practice — informed by a decade of building to Canadian standards.

Trade & supply chain

Sourcing strategy, supplier and farmer arrangements, quality standards, traceability and the practical mechanics of ethical procurement.

Travel & hospitality operations

Service design, supplier relationships and operational process for travel businesses, drawn from thirty years of running one.

Market entry & cross-border

Practical guidance for businesses moving between our markets — Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Pakistan and Uzbekistan — covering expectations, standards, partners and the differences that actually cost money.

Operational improvement

Reviewing how work actually gets done and rebuilding the process around it, rather than layering reporting on top of a broken one.

Standards & quality systems

Setting up documentation, inspection and quality-control practice that teams will genuinely follow after the consultant leaves.

How an engagement runs

Short, focused, and answerable

An honest first conversation

We establish what you are trying to achieve and whether we are genuinely the right people to help. Sometimes the answer is no.

A defined scope

Clear objectives, deliverables and fees agreed before we start, so nobody is guessing what success looks like.

Work alongside your team

We work with the people who will have to live with the result, because advice nobody owns is advice nobody follows.

Recommendations you can act on

Specific, prioritised and costed — written for the person who has to implement them, not for the boardroom shelf.

Support through implementation

We stay available while the changes take hold, and we are happy to be judged on whether they worked.

Why us

The difference between advice and experience

Aemaris Consulting exists because clients kept asking our operating teams how they did things. Rather than give away half an answer in a corridor, we made it a proper service.

  • Practitioners, not presenters — every adviser has an operating role.
  • Cross-border perspective across North American, European and Central and South Asian markets.
  • Four industries in-house, so advice is tested against real constraints.
  • Plain recommendations with costs, priorities and trade-offs stated.
  • Accountability — we stay involved while the work is done.
